Professor Subodh Dave is a Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist in Derbyshire, Professor of Psychiatry and Head of the Centre of Mental Health at the University of Greater Manchester, and current President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. A recognised leader in mental health, education and workforce development, he led work on the Community Mental Health Framework, securing £3.5 billion for service transformation. His educational innovations include the world’s largest Expert Patient Teacher Programme and several first-of-their-kind College initiatives. An expert on health inequity and workforce issues, he has over 50 peer-reviewed publications, advises national bodies, serves on Oxford University's Centre for Research Equity Advisory Board, and is a Trustee of Doctors in Distress.
