Yogita Dawda is Associate Chief Pharmacist & Consultant Mental Health Pharmacist at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust with over 24 years’ experience in mental health pharmacy and is an Independent Prescriber. She lectures on independent prescribing programmes at Aston University and is an assessor for the UCL School of Pharmacy prescribing course. Yogita has extensive experience in mental health assessment, consultation skills and non-medical prescribing, alongside running specialist prescribing clinics. She has contributed to national educational initiatives, curriculum development and research, with a particular interest in preparing early career pharmacist prescribers for safe, patient-centred clinical practice.
